ArtHop at the MET Thursday, March 3rd @ 6:30pm!

Doors will open at 5:30pm for those who plan to come straight after work. This is a child friendly event!!! Meet downstairs in the Michaelis room in the Fresno Metropolitan Museum (1515 Van Ness Avenue). Visit the grossology exhibit, and network with fellow young professionals. Feel free to explore the rest of Art Hop afterwards. Admission is free. Wine and light snacks will be provided. A $5 donation is suggested for those whose choose to indulge in food and beverages.

Thank you for all attending the second meeting of FLYP at COIL Yoga. Thirty people showed up (in downtown on a Tuesday night) and it was fun. As always the FLYP members continue to impress me. Although after our large Seattle turnout we may have to rename ourselves to FLYPS (Fresno's Leading Young Professionals from Seattle). Steering Committee Meeting on Friday, March 4th, 2005 @ 6:00pm

FLYP's first Steering Committee Meeting will be held at The Revue Friday, March 4th, 2005 @ 6:00pm. The Revue is located at 620 E Olive (in the Tower District across from Bobby Salazar’s). This is your opportunity to help build the foundation for FLYP. We will be deciding what direction we will be wanting FLYP to move, what events we will be looking to in the upcoming quarter, as well as appointing committees. Food and drinks will be available for purchase during this meeting. This will be a business meeting lasting an hour to an hour and a half. Afterwards we encourage our members to enjoy the Revue and the rest of the Tower District. Thank you Shantay for finding us a location!Please email flypinfo@hotmail.com to RSVP.

COIL Yoga Tuesday Feb 22nd @ 7:15pm

COIL Yoga will host the 2nd meeting of FLYP on February 22 @ 7:15pm. A $5 or $10 donation is suggested at the door to cover the cost of the wine and light snacks.

The meeting will begin with a beginner level Intro to Yoga class . The class will begin promptly at 7:30 pm. Wear comfortable, moveable clothing, and bring a hand towel. Mats will be provided, but if you have your own please bring it. Try not to eat for an hour before the class. Please call Katie Flinn at 559-270-4709 to register for the class, as space will be limited to the first 25 people.

Wine and light snacks will be served afterwards during the social hour which will begin after class at 8:15pm. If you are only attending the social hour, please email flypinfo@hotmail.com to RSPV (so we can get an accurate head count for light snacks/wine).

Parking is free, and is located directly in front of the studio on Inyo and P streets. Directions to the studio can be found on the website http://www.coilyoga.com/. Please call 559-270-4709 to register for this unique FLYP event and for any other information on the studio and regular classes.
