California Trails Day. We’ll meet at 9:00 a.m. on the northwest corner of Cedar and Shepherd on the Sugar Pine Trail. Work will include rebuilding watering basins, removing tree stakes and ties as needed, some replanting and general cleanup. We’ll work until about noon. All tools will be provided. Fresno Grizzlies Baseball Monday, April 11 @ 6:30pm

FLYP will be hosting a Fresno Grizzlies group activity on Monday, April 11th. Cost is $7 per person and includes a ticket as well as a voucher at the concessions stand for a hot dog and soda. We will be meeting downtown at Los Ponchos Mexican Restaurant (1000 Fulton Mall, Directions, (559) 497-9999) and head over towards the stadium promptly at 6:30pm for the 7:05pm game. Creative Fresno Mixer, Friday April 8th @ 5pm

Come out to Veni Vidi Vicis RIGHT AFTER work this Friday!! The very first Creative Blender will be rockin' the garden patio at 5 pm sharp....put on by your friends from Creative Fresno (this includes many FLYPers!). For those interested we will be heading to Ashtree Studios afterwards.

Veni Vidi Vicis is located on 1116 N Fulton in the Tower District, just south of Olive. Ashtree Studios is on 1035 N. Fulton, right next door.

Hike with FLYP on Sunday, April 3rd, 2005 @ 9am to 2pm

Wildflowers on the McKenzie Preserve Hike

Sierra Foothill Conservancy will be leading a hike "Wildflowers on the McKenzie Preserve." The hike will take us to the top of the McKenzie Tabletop Mnt, about a 6 mile hike. The hike is free, although we encourage people to donate $5 (for our website fund). Remember to bring water and your own lunch. More information can be found on http://www.sierrafoothill.org/. Contact Maraget Jones or Jim Carl (855-3473) at the Sierra Foothill Conservancy as a point-person and to RSPV, or Nevin Hindiyeh (960-5517) for more information. For those who want to carpool/caravan up there, we will meeting at Starbucks (Willow and Nees) at 7:45am and leaving promptly at 8am that morning. The hike starts at 9am promptly. We will have docents guiding us, thus make sure to RSVP by Friday April 1st at latest. Thank you Ellen for organizing this event!
